Lampard Has Finally Signed A Striker That Can Challenge Messi And Ronaldo

According to reports: Moussa Dembele is willing to move toChelsea and compete with Tammy Abraham for a starting spot, says transfer expert Duncan Castles. Express Sport understands Chelsea are targeting Dembele in this window as Frank Lampard looks to strengthen his strike force. Lyon have reiterated that Dembele is not for sale but the player appears to be willing to leave Ligue 1 this month.
Castles says Dembele is confident he can oust Abraham from the Chelsea starting XI if he joins the Stamford Bridge club.
Abraham is the joint-third top scorer in the Premier League this season having netted 12 times.
But Castles says Dembele can use his experience at Lyon to fight for his spot in west London.
“[Dembele] has the numbers and the quality and this is a player who is happy to play by himself up front,” Castles said on the Transfer Window Podcast .
“He is a traditional No 9 in many ways, he can play with his back to goal he scores a range of different goals, he has played in England already, he obviously has played very successfully in Scotland in a hard, physical league, he has played successfully at Champions League level
