HOW TO PREPARE NIGERIA EGUSI SOUP
EGUSI SOUP
INGREDIENT : ,2 milk cups of grinded egusi ,4 pieces of meats ,1 medium sliced onions ,Blended pepper ,60cl of Palm oil ,2 Stock fish ,Ponmo ,crayfish ,1 handful of chopped Uguw leaves
STEP 1 : Boil the meat and season with curry, thyme, onions, seasoning cubes and salt. Wash the stock meat and pour it inside hot water and set it aside.
STEP 2 : Put dry pot on fire and pour the palm oil to heat it up for like 30 sec. Pour the blended pepper and stir for like 2 minutes. Pour the stock meat(omi eran), stock fish, cray fish, ponmo, meat, onions, seasoning cubes, salt stir for another 3 minutes.
STEP 3 : Pour a little water in the grinded melon and mix till it form a paste. Cut the paste, bit by bit inside the pot as seen above and cover it for another 1 minutes.
STEP 4 : Pour the sliced uguw leaves and mix properly. Leave it on fire for about 3 minutes.
STEP 5 :Your egusi soup is ready. You can eat it with any swallow.
